I’ve all but stopped writing anything about the weddings I photograph because I only shoot really nice beautiful brides and that’s all I end up saying… Well my name is Taylor and I’ve got some things to SAY about this one 🙂 Kelsie is the daughter of my youth minister growing up, so her family is of course really special to me. We all went to Salem together, and she’s always been this pretty. The wedding party looked like a mix of Barbie and friends and a handful of handsome 1800’s Presidential candidates. All night I stared into the back of my camera in disbelief that these were pictures of real human people that I know. There were heartfelt speeches and lots (and lots) of pretty-crying. (On that topic, my favorite quote was, “Lee, you can’t brood all the time. Correction: Lee, you shouldn’t brood all the time.” It’s been rolling around in my head all week.) And Kelsie was the perfect bride – the details were great, the schedule was adhered to, but she experienced her wedding day rather than worrying about the inconsequential. Peyton and I had a really good time, Kelsie. Thanks for having us!
